Payroll data is
the most sensitive data.
In Bordrom it is always clear who sees what, who changed what, and when.
Two-step verification
A one-time code by email at sign-in, together with strong password checks and bot protection.
Least privilege
Access by role and employee group. Users see only the employees and items their job requires.
Change history
Every change to company and employee data is stored with its previous version, including who and when.
Protected payslips
PDF payslips can be password-protected; employees see only their published payslips.
Period lock
An approved and locked month cannot be changed afterwards. Calculation runs all-or-nothing, so no half-finished payroll.
Encrypted connection
All access over HTTPS; the admin and employee applications live at separate addresses.
Common questions
How does our accounting firm see our data?
The firm's users see only the companies linked to them, and only as far as their assigned permissions allow. The company admin manages this access.
We don't want a user to see certain bonuses.
Earnings, deductions and insurance items can be hidden per user, so sensitive pay items are seen only by authorized people.
Can we find a change made in the past?
Yes. Date-effective fields keep every period separately, and previous versions of records are also kept in the change history.
How do employees create an account?
Only through an invitation from the company. There is no open sign-up, and sign-in uses two-step verification by email.
